This week the IFA are going to be advertising expressions of interest forthe Sweden game. They have been allotted 3400 tickets and the cost will be approx £22.

HERE IS HOW IT WILL WORK FOR AMALGAMATION CLUBS.

Those who book tickets direct with IFA (Cookstown, Glengormley, etc) You can either have one member apply for up to 30 tickets online and if youneed more than 30 put in multiple applications.Alternatively you can book in the normal way by contacting Karen Kee at theticketing Dept and completing a handwritten application and pay by cheque,cash or whatever you normally do.

Those clubs who use the Amalgamation ticketing service Start gathering your numbers and take £22 off them.

I will need a final return by the 15th of September.
You will all be seeing your club membersin early Sept for the 2 matches so please put the pressure on and get the numbers and the money.
I will be making my usual application and submitting your cash and cheques with it.
The Amalgamation have been allocated their usual percentage and this will be more than enough to satisfy everyones needs.

Some members slow payments are causing the club embarassment and putting us underscrutiny at the Amalgamation/IFA so please make the effort - you know who you are with this one lads!!

wasn't at this myself & another poor response from members to attend.
club will decide over next years entry due to this.
but a big thanks to all those that replied to my txt & especially to those that went to the tournament on behalf of the club.

Northern Ireland moved second in their Euro 2008

Northern Ireland moved second in their Euro 2008 qualifying group after a comfortable win in Nigel Worthington's first game as manager.
David Healy was again the talisman with two first-half strikes.
Healy headed in the opener from Keith Gillespie's cross before netting his 31st international goal with a superb curling effort from 20 yards.
Kyle Lafferty's powerful shot made it 3-0 while Liechtenstein striker Mario Frick scored a late consolation goal.

Fulham forward Healy dragged a first-minute shot wide before netting with his next chance four minutes later.
Tenacious work from Lafferty provided the space for Gillespie to send in a pin-point cross with Healy directing the ball inside the near-post.
Northern Ireland made a bright start but were given a scare on 18 minutes when Mario Frick was left free eight yards out but the striker sent his header too close to Maik Taylor, who collected at the second attempt.
Lafferty should have doubled the lead after 31 minutes but the Burnley teenager managed to head wide at the back-post from Chris Brunt's cross.

Healy showed how to finish three minutes later, intercepting Michael Stocklasa's slack free-kick before curling the ball from 20 yards beyond a motionless Peter Jehle.
Worthington's men continued to press to half-time and there was no change after the interval as N Ireland went in search of another goal.
The third was another classy strike - the returning George McCartney sent in the perfect centre for Lafferty, who made up for his earlier miss by controlling the ball before drilling low and hard past Jehle from 10 yards.
Gillespie was having another sparkling game on the right and Fabio D'Elia could only stop the Sheffield United winger with a rash challenge which resulted in a booking.
Warren Feeney replaced goalscorer Lafferty with 15 minutes left as Worington freshened up his attack.
Steve Davis wasted a good opening on 81 minutes when he volleyed over after the ball slipped out of Jehle's hands.
Frick netted with a just a minute left, his initial shot cleared off the line by Stephen Craigan but he pounced on the loose ball to smash low into the net.

At last a home game for us to get our teeth into.
We play host to Liechenstien a team we managed to beat 4-1 back in March, lets hope for another great result.

Bus leaves Ballymena Social Club at 6pm sharp
Bring a CO with you as there will be no stop off.

Coach goes straight to Boucher Road side or Windsor, returning after the game.

All the tickets have been allocated for this game.

THE Northern Ireland U21 team will tonight (Tuesday) take on their Finnish counterparts in an international challenge match at the Ballymena Showgrounds.
The game kicks-off at 7.30pm.

Manager Roy Millar has named a 20 man squad for the match.
